cheapest touch screen Samsung Launches Champ and Omnia Lite Handsets

Samsung has launched two new handsets in the Indian market consolidating its product 
portfolio.  The company unveiled Champ C3300, which is the lightest and cheapest touch screen handset in the market and Omnia Lite B7300, a mid-range Windows Mobile based smart phone.

With a 2.4 inches QVGA resistive touch screen, the Champ runs Touchwiz Lite 2.0 user interface and includes a 1.3 megapixel camera, social networking integration, microSD card support, internal memory of 30MB and Sound alive 3D audio technology. It supports FM radio playback without the need of an antenna and also houses a 3.5 mm jack. It is priced at  Rs 4100 and is the lowest priced touch screen phone available in the country.

The Omnia Lite is a business phone powered by Windows mobile 6.5 and offers support for Microsoft exchange server push e-mail and IBM Lotus Note Traveler.

It is a 3G enabled touch screen device and comes with a 3 inches resistive TFT display, a 3.2 megapixel camera, video player and recorder, support for DivX and many other media formats and Opera 9.5 web browser. It offers a plethora of connectivity options including Wi-Fi, USB 2.0 and HSDPA (upto 3.6Mbps). It has an internal memory of 128MB and supports microSD cards upto 32 GB. Samsung has made the phone user friendly by integrating the Touch Wiz 2.0 interface over Windows mobile, which is notorious for not being user friendly. It also comes with applications for social networking and photo sharing. The Omnia Lite is priced at Rs 17,560.
